Livestock x Ferrari x Puma Mid

Livestock x Ferrari x Puma Mid

Two years in the making, Livestock proudly presents its collaborative pack with Ferrari and Puma. First initiated when Puma sent some of the Livestock crew to the Monetral Grand Prix a few years ago, their fascination for the Ferrari Support Challenge grew, along their appreciation for Puma’s involvement in the branding and design of the stock cars. Fir this collection, the Puma Mid was the model of choice. Ferrari colors became the obvious foundation for the design; red, yellow and black for suede uppers. Getting gown to the details, tire rubber is used for the midsole trim, perforated pig skin for the lining, and leather insole which features a screenprinted track with turns related to Livestock, Puma, Ferrari and F1. A common ground for collaborative shoes, a special Livestock hang tag accompanies each pair. To tie in the racing theme, the Ferrari logo is found on the back heel tab, while a perforated 27 is found on the tongues to honor F1 driving legend and fellow Canadian, Gilles Villeneuve.

Of course with all Puma List shoes, an additional pair is created exclusively for the collaborative store. The Livestock-only pair is inspired by the Honda S2000, sponsored by Puma and Livestock, which has won the Improved Product2 championship for the past two years. Thus, the special edition Puma Mid is utilizes the same facets as the other pairs except features premium leather in white. Additionally, the Ferrari logo is replaced by #46, the car’s race number. To round up the design, all pairs including the suede ones, will feature a luxury Puma x Ferrari helmet bag to become a makeshift storage for the shoes. The entire collection is already out and is sure to become a nice little collectors piece. Check out the video below for further info.

Air Jordan AJAR – White – Black – Varsity Red | First Look.

Air Jordan AJAR White Black Varsity Red | First Look

A new model anticipated for Fall 2010, this was actually included in the catalog preview we did back in December. The Jordan AJAR (or possibly AJRS) mixes aesthetics of popular Air Jordan silhouettes with some tough looking tooling. Not necessarily the paneling per se, but the outline of the shoe almost look like an AJ X or XIII, while the silo of the midsole looks like an Air-less Jordan IV. Of course it has its own distinctive tooling, featuring die-cut leather overlaying a mesh sock-like liner. Another nice little touch is having the sole’s treads sneak up into the profile of the midsole. It’s no surprise that we see the first colorway debuting in white/black and red; typical of Jordan marketing. Tentatively set for a July release, MarqueeSole has a few select sizes already.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) – Christmas Sample.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) Christmas Sample

One of the very best Nike Air Max LeBron VIIs is a cobalt blue HWC alternate look whose speckled Swoosh is echoed by a one-of-a-kind Max Air unit. Make that two with these images of the Air Max LeBron VII in a second Christmas colorway. Thanks to a tonal red upper with white Swoosh and L23 logo outlines, the white speckles look like falling snow. Particularly refreshing, then, to see the speckles inside this pair’s Air bubble in red and green, more like a holiday candy shell. These are right up there with the hottest unreleased LeBron samples, so enjoy some more shots after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for the latest LeBron James Nikes. via NLB

NBA Feet: 2010 NBA Playoffs – Weekend Recap.

NBA Feet: 2010 NBA Playoffs Weekend Recap

The past weekend saw the end of the First Round and the beginning of Conference Semi-Final play, as the Lakers ended OKC’s thunderous run and booked a gig with the Utah Jazz, who also closed out their series against the Denver Nuggets. LeBron and the Cavs also opened up the second-round series against the Celtics as well, while the Atlanta Hawks regrouped and took the last two deciding games of their series against the Bucks. As we get deeper into the Playoffs, we should see more and more great kicks, but this past weekend did not disappoint.

Kobe and LeBron rocked their Playoff colorways – Kobe with the Kobe V POP and LeBron with the P.S. – while Carlos Boozer showed off his sweet Air Max Hyperize PE. Joe Johnson and his Air Jordan XII PEs got the job done, as did Mike Bibby and his two colorways of the Jordan One6 One7. Mo Williams got our attention with a vibrant red Air Max Hyperize NFW while J.R. Smith un-DSed the just-released Air Jordan XI 25th Anniversary. And finally, Carmelo Anthony wore yet another colorway of the Future Sole Melo M6; unfortunately, the success of the colorway and design did not transfer into a win, as all four losses came when Melo wore the Future Sole design. Check out the great gallery of NBA kicks after the jump. via Yahoo!.
